Children in the Nursery School follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. There is a strong emphasis on exploration, investigation, discovery and problem-solving.

Our experienced staff take into account each child’s preferred learning style and also develop activities which closely match individual interests. By carefully observing how children play, staff plan fun activities which create learning opportunities. Thought-provoking questions posed at the appropriate time foster deeper thinking skills, embed learning and begin to develop and challenge an enquiring mind.

The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum consists of the following seven areas of learning:

  • Communication and Language
  • Physical Development
