Both academic success and providing an all-round education are very important to us at Clifton High School. Our pupils achieve superb examination results. A broad curriculum, small class sizes and excellent teaching are instrumental in this, but at Clifton High we go further.
Through the Diamond Edge Model of education our curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of adolescent boys and girls. We have identified those subjects where they learn better together and those where they learn better apart and we have tailored our teaching and curriculum accordingly.
At GCSE, pupils are encouraged to take nine subjects as well as a course in life skills. Sixth Form students usually choose three A levels and an EPQ qualification. The timetable is structured around our students’ choices.
