The second day of Clifton High School’s Marquee Week was another roaring success, with a visit from renowned Author Tanya Landman, a Book Fair and a performance of The Sound of Music. Ms Landman - who is this year's recipient of the CILIP Carnegie Medal - read extracts of some of her books to younger pupils and discussed her career with older pupils on Wednesday 7th October. After school the Yellow Lighted Bookshop came for Ms Landman's book signing and selling, which gave children and parents alike another opportunity to chat with the author.
Tuesday evening also featured this year’s annual school production The Sound of Music. Pupils had worked hard to create an action-packed performance that entertained the packed audience.
