Sixth Form Entrance Procedures

External candidates are considered on individual merit and entrance into the Sixth Form is dependent upon:

  • evidence obtained from each student’s current school in the form of a school report
  • predicted or actual external examination results
  • an interview with the Head of Sixth Form plus relevant Heads of Department
  • subject specific school examination paper results, if required

International candidates for entry into Year 12 will also be required to sit our English and Mathematics entrance examination papers either in their current school or at Clifton High. In addition pupils will need to have achieved and IELTs score of over 5.5 (in some instances a score of 5 may be considered).
